Subject: Update from the Oregon Pluto line
Hi Maya,
Well…life just keeps throwing curves at me. My house went on the market May 1st. Showed 20 times in the first 2.5 weeks, then nothing. We dropped the price $15k.
On 5/23 I lost my job, so that’s created several levels of difficulties I hadn’t expected. A tooth has been bothering me and last week I learned that my annual dental insurance max has been reached. So there’s just no end of financial outlay.
Forgive me for sounding so complaining. None of this is going as I anticipated. I’m frustrated how things have unfolded and the accumulating health debt. We continue to have winterish weather…it’s June 3 and I’m still using the furnace every day. All I want to do is get to North Carolina!
I keep wondering if somehow I’m blocking this energetically but, if so, I’m not seeing how. Maybe this Pluto energy is just holding on to me. (yes, that’s what Pluto energy does-it holds on like a prison bar*MW) Portland seems to be saying more and more loudly, “Please leave!” I’m trying, I’m trying!
Maybe I’ll have better news next time I write.

Subject: North Carolina update
Hi, Maya,
I can’t sufficiently thank you for your guidance and support in getting me to NC. I am SO HAPPY HERE! I feel comfortable and have felt warmly welcomed and embraced by the contradance community.
I landed here 8/22 and was able to stay with a dance acquaintance for 3 weeks until I found a rental. On 9/14 I moved into the master bedroom of a townhouse. Now I’m focusing on job hunting and am surprisingly calm and confident that a good one will manifest soon.
While still in Portland, I met a man who lives about an hour south of Chapel Hill. I’ve been seeing him since 9/5. Since I haven’t had a relationship in 6 years, I’m surprised at how quickly one manifested when I got to NC.
The land here is lovely…lots of trees, rolling land, farmland outside of the city. If you sprinkled in a bunch of lakes, it would look just like the area of Minnesota where I grew up, so I feel at home in the landscape.
Most just-met people will inquire how I chose to come here, and my story always includes astrocartography, since your guidance validated my intuition and gave me the necessary confidence to move on it.
The best gift is the contradance community. People have been so warm and welcoming. This past weekend I went to a residential dance camp out in the boonies north of Greensboro. I told my how-I-chose-NC story so many times I thought I should’ve written up a flyer to hand out. Late Sat. night I was approached by a dance caller who’s well known in the community and with whom I’ve had a few conversations. She said, “I thought you needed to know that this community is so happy to have you here.” How sweet! Then she also said that several men had approached her and said, “So there’s this new woman who just moved here from the Northwest…?” She was so sweet and genuine and I felt like the belle of the ball. What a welcome!
I continue to be surprised throughout each day when I notice happiness bubbling up inside me. This is such a new thing in my life that it blows me away. My sense of gratitude is WAY up and happening without any conscious effort. At last I feel like I’m on the right track, that life is being supportive and good (and better) things are coming my way. My trust level is high and I’m the happy, confident and gently outgoing person I’ve wanted to be. Amazing, absolutely amazing.
